Shanghai World Financial Center
The philosophy of 101 stories above ground.
Stacking all facility information vertically,
a site representing the building itself.
In 2008, as Mori Building’s first overseas project, the “Shanghai World Financial Center” (SWFC) was completed in Shanghai — 101 stories above ground and 492 meters tall. SWFC was advanced under the idea of a “Vertical Garden City (complex),” and even after being built, it earnestly considers and works on how it can take root in and contribute to the area. On this website, we put photographs and words embodying SWFC’s philosophy into an interface that stacks all facility information vertically, expressing SWFC through the website itself. *This is a website that was previously made in Flash.
