About Us

Think,
Make,
Continue,

We start by listening
— listening closely, and a lot.
Because before any expression takes shape,
laying the right foundation matters most.
We don’t just dive straight into the work.
We listen with empathy,
and place real weight on understanding
the people we work with.
That’s how we arrive, together,
at a clear intention and a shared goal.
Design without logic
isn’t mount inc.’s kind of design.
We aim for work that is functional,
clear, and moving.
And we want our design practice itself
to keep expanding the fields we work in.

We carry responsibility,
building things up carefully, one piece at a time.
Seeing every project through from start to finish.
Doing work we can be proud to call our own.
Because it’s the people who create things
— and we believe design has the power
to make a difference.

A design practice —

    5 things

We listen with big, sincere ears.

Creating anything starts with understanding the premise — and that means truly understanding our clients and their business. So we listen carefully, and we talk things through. We believe that staying close to our clients through thoughtful communication is essential to creating work that really connects.

  • (02)

    5 things

Careful and honest, even in the small things.

We’re always thinking about how to make things better. That takes patience and follow-through — we’re not chasing “fast and easy.” Whether the task is small or large, mount inc. approaches it the same way: steadily, sincerely, one step at a time.

  • (03)

    5 things

    We make it our own.

We don’t want any excuses in the work we produce. So rather than treating a project as just an assignment, each of us takes ownership of it. From beginning to end, in every phase, no one cuts corners — every member drives the work forward with a real sense of responsibility.

  • (04)

    5 things

    Functional. Clear. Moving.

We’re not chasing flashy or overly elaborate effects, and we’re not trying to be different for its own sake. Self-indulgent work isn’t the mount inc.’s way. We make sure every choice has a reason behind it. Functioning toward the purpose comes first — and from there, we ask: is it clear? Does it move people?

  • (05)

    5 things

Until we can say we’re proud of it.

Can we say we truly saw the work through? That requires giving it everything we have. We want to produce work with real, tangible results — work that everyone involved in the project, including the client, can feel proud of.

Companies & brands we’ve worked with

We’ve worked on projects of every scale and industry, from Japan’s leading corporations to mid-sized and emerging companies. For each, we thoroughly research their unique culture, philosophy, history, and the path their business and brand have taken — through interviews and analysis of materials — before designing and delivering the project in the form that fits best. Our goal isn’t just to produce deliverables, but to understand the true essence and value of each company and create results that remain meaningful over the long term.
