The stage of the website is a corner of a quiet room where sunlight filters through the trees. In a space as if someone were continuing to write silently at a desk, it depicts the small miraculous moments that visit there. On the site, with Writing = letterpress and Design = scenery (shadow), both derived from the company name, as the axes, we offer an interactive visual experience. In the Writing part, through an object modeled on letterpress, we express the way images that come to mind are born into the world as letters. Words are written out as if dancing, visualizing the sensation of thought riding a current. On the other hand, there are also scenes where letters are erased and rewritten; the repetition of writing and erasing symbolizes the continuous self-questioning in making things. At the same time as words are born, fragmentary images and flickers of light appear like shadows behind them, as scenery = Design. As if traveling while staying in the room, a free and warm world unfolds where, in imagination, you can go anywhere and anything can happen.

This site, which looks like monochrome live-action footage, is interactive content drawn entirely with WebGL. Rather than pre-rendered video prepared in advance, it achieves photorealistic CG expression through real-time rendering with WebGL. The trees that produce the dappled sunlight are generated with different parameters on each visit, holding nearly infinite variations. The expressions of light and shadow change in response to the user’s actions, and the same state is never repeated. We also developed a “selfie mode” as a mechanism for placing the viewer inside the visual world rather than outside the screen. By blurring the boundary between viewing and participation, it is designed so that the user’s presence is incorporated as a compositional element on screen.
